Gilles Pho was born in Paris in 1969.
He very early turned to an artistic career(quarry).
His training is eclectic, with different personalities, mixing(involving) as much the watercolor, the acrylic, the oil paint(painting), the trompe l'œil, the modelling, as the poetry and the psychoanalysis.
Today painter and sculptor, Gilles Pho expresses the strength and the surprises of the unconscious through internal landscapes in the harmonious colors and the particularly human portraits. His(her) sensibility expresses himself in a subtle way in a fluid search(research) for twilight, for constraste and for passage. His(her, its) differentiating, very personal style, evokes and suggests, without imposing.
Its marks in the art history are, more particularly, Rilke, Hiroshighe, Turner, Zao Wook i, Brancusi, Pierre Soulages, Nicolas de Staël, Alain Boullet and Camille Claudel …
