Gigi Vegini was born in 1975 and lives in Valbrembo in the province of Bergamo. He approached photography in 1999, obtaining several awards and prizes in various national photographic competitions.

Gigi Vegini was born in 1975 and lives in Valbrembo in the province of Bergamo.
He approached photography in 1999, obtaining several awards and prizes in various national photographic competitions.
In 2004 he participated in the Magicodadapolaroidistant Workshop with the photographer Maurizio Galimberti, during the Toscana Foto-Festival and thanks to him he changed his way of “observing the world”.
In 2006 he participated in the lessons "Lo Sguardo Incantato" organized by the Gallery of Modern Art in Bergamo held by the photographer Virgilio Fidanza.
He photographs in black and white for his reportage works, while with instant film for creative color photographs.
Some of his images have been published in national catalogs and magazines and are part of some private collections.
