"Fine-Arts" prints on paper
It is a process of printing on art paper using very high-quality pigment inks and printed in very high definition. Its level of conservation is exceptional (more than 100 years), its quality, depth, and richness of nuances exceeds the classic photo print on Argentic paper.
Glossy finish
Apart from its exceptional thickness, the fiber paper is composed of an alpha-cellulose base without acid and it is covered with barium sulphate, and a microporous layer absorption enhancing pigments during printing. A pure white color, non-yellowing to light, this paper is especially designed for resistance and aging. It is used by major museums worldwide as it offers excellent resolution, rendering deep and dense colors.

Born in post-war northern France in 1947, started painting in 2005.
Gérard DETRAIT, artist pseudonym "GD La Palette" < /p>
Self-taught amateur painter, I tested and diversified techniques and supports.
A few months in painting association then allowed me to develop them further.
Today, my creations are in acrylic, oil, pastel, ink and sanguine on supports such as canvas, papyrus, wood, cardboard, bristol or more exotic papers.
My beginnings included works or photos on various themes (landscapes, animals, boats, portraits). I don't orient myself towards any style, trend or fashion, it is simply my tastes and the subjects that guide me or the requests of clients.
Little by little, I am ;emancipates by leaving more freedom to my inspirations.
My current works are oriented on the sensual and generally on the "chiaroscuro". I find that the play of contrasts and the mastery of lights enhance the shapes and give more free rein to the imagination of art lovers.
Part of My works have been scattered over the years, I create about ten works per year oil, acrylic, watercolor, charcoal, pencil, ink.
