I work and live in New Aquitaine, France. After several years of work on paint paste (linseed oil pigments) 1st personal exhibition in Paris in 1981 I oriented my work on fluidity and transparencies. From 2006 I decided to amplify the play of transparencies and to play more with reflections and lights. My preferred medium became synthetic glass (100 x 100 cm plates painted on both sides). To the manufacture of oil paintings, I substituted epoxy resin, poured on the support and into which I introduce inks and pigments. The surface is glossy, solid and presents different thicknesses according to the superposition of the films of colors worked within the resin. Since mid 2015, with this experience on synthetic glass, the return to canvas has naturally imposed itself. The resin has proven its worth (paintings installed outside: seafront Arcachon, streets of Sarlat, ...) I use the same technique on canvas and wood. My experience on synthetic glass allows me to anticipate the effects produced. I mix one or more mineral pigments in epoxy resin. This one is then poured on different supports: canvas, wood or Plexiglas of one cm thickness according to the format. I then introduce different inks that I prepare. I work with glue spatulas of different widths that allow me to stretch or even turn over my prepared colors. I draw my shapes inside the resin with different wooden sticks, in an imaginary and always renewed calligraphy of the space.  My sources of inspiration are inspired by Nature in the broadest sense of the word: cosmic, microscopic, telluric, aquatic and human. It is life that interests me. I propose a work all in nuances of diaphanous films, hoping to touch the viewer, offering him all the poetry of the play of forms, colors and lights so that he weaves secret links with Nature and reconnects with his imagination, his humanity, his essence, his partiality.
