Guido Mannini è un pittore con una formazione e un percorso artistico molto interessanti e in continua evoluzione, nato a Borgomanero (NO) ma attivo a Moncalieri (Torino).
Percorso Artistico e Stile:
Dalle origini al figurativo: Inizialmente, Mannini si è dedicato alla copia di grandi maestri contemporanei come Dalì, Picasso, Kandinsky, Modigliani, acquisendo una solida padronanza tecnica e pittorica. Questa fase di studio e perfezionamento tecnico gli ha permesso di approdare al figurativo con opere di rilievo. I "Deserti" e l'esperienza in Algeria: Una parte significativa della sua produzione artistica è legata ai "deserti" e all'esperienza della sua infanzia trascorsa in Algeria. Le sue opere di questo periodo sono caratterizzate da figure misteriose d'Africa e suggestive distese desertiche, permeate di una poesia ambientale e di una capacità di evocare atmosfere soffuse. La svolta verso l'astratto: Negli ultimi anni, i suoi morbidi e pacati colori hanno lasciato il passo a forme astratte, dinamiche e originali. Questa è descritta come una "dirompente deflagrazione", un momento di evoluzione che lo porta a un "punto di svolta esplosivo, carico di freschezza e dinamismo". Il suo stile attuale è talvolta definito "astrattista spazialista, che contiene comunque matrice recondita figurativa con squillanti colori pop e street art". Le sue opere in questa fase "debordano per massa, cromie e soprattutto energia".
