Emmanuel Raussinest is a self-taught passionate amateur photographer since 2015. He started with nature photography (fauna, flora, landscape, macro), then progressed to architecture. The confinement allowed him to discover urban exploration, or "urbex", and to specialize in portraiture, because this discipline is truly a bottomless pit of magnificent, unique and varied settings.

Morning and evening lights are my favorite times. he likes the atmosphere of the blue and golden hours where unique, almost unreal colors intermingle. Likewise, he likes the contrasts of chiaroscuro where the imagination strips away one by one these mysterious shadows. Whatever his subject, he always tries to sublimate it by bringing a touch of poetry, even of “enchantment”.

Emmanuel Raussinest was born in 1971 in Vietnam, he lived all his childhood in the Meuse surrounded by meadows, forests, rivers, flowers, animals, birds and insects. Nature has always been omnipresent in his life. Its hidden, unsuspected treasures are an inexhaustible source of curiosity, inspiration and wonder. He won the Guest of Honor Prize at the 5th Photographic Meetings of Brétigny-sur-Orge (2021), the Public Prize at the 4th Photographic Meetings of Brétigny-sur-Orge (2019), at the 44th Art and Matter Fair (2019) and at the 65th Art Fair of Milly-la-Forêt (2018).
