I belong to no school, do not refer to any actual movement, if not some of the happiness of expressionism due to different influences in my youth.
Having been a student at the Grande Chaumiere in the workshop Othon Friesz, a great Fauve in his day, I can say that the influence of his movement has perhaps touched, but I got free from it to make this So I call my "expressionism of charm", that is to say, the cult of beauty in color and therefore everything about my everyday environment, the landscape around me, my familiar objects, my preferred time, and especially my family and my faithful companion. The need to raise them is always a perpetual happiness.
