This work is an acrylic on canvas, 80 cm x 80 cm. It was designed on August 1, 2020 and completed in two days. Every time I create a work, it always has one or more senses ... Here, the general subject is China, this great country, with its assets and its demons! While painting, I thought of the monsters and the deportation of the Uyghurs this Chinese people of the autonomous region and the republic of Xinjiang. Of Turkish-speaking origin, the population is Muslim. It seems that the central power of the Chinese Communist Party no longer supports the independence of this declared republic. These same decision-makers in July 2020 want to "treat" and "proceed" what looks like a mass extermination, with forced labor camps, unexplained disappearances in short of deja vu unfortunately! I know that European journalists are currently in positions of observation and investigation. For lack of anything better, they will be able to bring back images and writings of this great misfortune encountered by this population! With my art, in a very easy way, I nevertheless want to show my own indignation and disgust at the NAZI methods of the People's Police Department. My canvas is a VOLUNTARY THOUGHT of manifesto! From where I am I can only do that and visually communicate my outrage! DESAG

Dominique Desag is a contemporary award-winning French artist. In his pictorial work, Desag strives to reproduce the power relationships between the colors that are born and the forms that welcome them. Moreover, by collecting these alchemies, the painter's attitude is to produce varied responses on the canvas, without forgetting to create aesthetic and colorful creations.

As material and medium, Desag uses acrylic, sometimes oil or pigments. He likes to work on canvas frames in square formats, ranging from 20x20 cm to 120x120 cm. Some works are carried out on wooden panels. He is also very fond of painting on paper.

Dominique Desag was born in 1957, in France. He is a Member of the Taylor Foundation.

The Artist was highlighted in an article in Artmajeur Magazine:
