Lamp in dark oak and natural beech, oiled finish.
An essential presence for this lamp that is both massive and delicate: massive by its robust, structured shape, marked by horizontal and vertical lines that underline a character built according to a simple geometry; delicate by this dark angle which placed on its point seems to want to come out of its box. But the finesse lies above all in the lighting, which brings an irresistible touch of fantasy to the whole. Wood plays with light or light plays with wood, giving it warm reflections. The natural Beech, all shade and light helps to spread a warm, calm and serene atmosphere. Exceptional, high-end lamp, real light sculpture, each item is a work of art, a unique piece, numbered, signed, conforming to the prototype, the result of extensive graphic research and careful manual production. Made in France, to order, with wood most often recovered from old furniture, my lamps are the culmination of a passion, wood, linked to a positive non-conformism. No more lampshades and killjoys! The light is there to radiate and highlight a noble material, sublimated by the lighting. In the same econological approach, this lamp is equipped with an LED electrical system, economical and efficient.
Lighting: 4.5 watt, 400 lumen, 3000 k LED bulb with GU10 base, fluorescent switch and 2m50 white electric wire.
Height: 49 cm, width: 38 cm, depth: 17.5 cm, weight: 3.250 kg

Denys Mollard is a contemporary French artist. Initially a cabinetmaker, then a model maker, he became an interior designer and, passionate about wood and materials, he began to imagine a line of wooden lamps to enhance the interiors.
Mollard’s wood lamp design collection uses simple, geometric shapes, clean, slender lines to allow wood to take on its full value. Wood in its most varied species: teak, pine, oak, beech, walnut, sipo, Wengé, Iroko, is not only used as a form support, but as a building material.
His creations are more like sculptures than simple objects to pose. To give them a raison d'être that goes beyond mere aesthetics and gives them the characteristic of design in the true sense of the term, he adds light, thanks to LED bulbs that give his creations another useful life.
