While many people find peace within the sight of a church, I wanted this particular photo to show a different perspective: that of a sinner. Instead of feeling safe when being in the presence of these great buildings, they feel uneasy, dominated, like they are being watched by a godly entity whose judging their every step. The whole atmosphere is dark and gloomy, the sky (reminder of the presence of heaven) is being blocked by the a tall church tower (God watching the sinner)
