Je me suis inspirée du cinéma italien des années 50. Pour moi cette oeuvre, produite dans ce contexte et touchant mon pays de coeur, l'italie, raconte[...]
"Le baiser" est une oeuvre effectuée dans ma série "Printemps 2020", et directement liée à la pandémie que nous vivons. Le Corona virus était en train de se répandre en italie. Je me suis inspirée du cinéma italien des années 50. Pour moi cette oeuvre, produite dans ce contexte et touchant mon pays de coeur, l'italie, raconte un pays qui se noie à travers ces personnages dont les corps sont de moitié ensevelis par une eau sombre. Mais ils n'y sont que de moitié, résistant encore, dignes et beaux, n'osant se toucher mais s'embrassant à travers des masques de protection.
L'amour sera plus fort que tout.
