Cecilia Boggi, argentina, nace en Morón, provincia de Buenos Aires en 1960. Vive su infancia en las ciudades patagónicas de Comodoro Rivadavia y Río Gallegos y de adolescente se radica con su familia en Castelar. Ya de adulta, pasa unos años en Salvador (Bahia, Brasil) y luego en Mendoza. En la actualidad reside en la ciudad de Buenos Aires.
Se inicia en el arte estudiando dibujo y pintura con el maestro José Luis Gomez Catoria en el Taller Recoleta de Galería de Arte Centoira en 1998.
En el 2001, realiza un seminario de pintura con la profesora Beatriz Zúcaro.
Desde el 2002 estudia composición, estructura y color con los maestros Heriberto Zorrilla y Helena Distéfano, fundadores del movimiento "Esencialismo".
