Andromaque, born in 1970, lives and works in France. A multidisciplinary artist, she explores various mediums such as pastel on paper, pastel on wood, chalk on paper, oil on canvas, acrylic on paper and photography. His figurative style reflects deep inspiration drawn from all the arts and philanthropy. Since March 2014, Andromaque has devoted herself to pastels, engaging in plastic research on faces and looks, questioning notoriety and what we do with it over the course of a lifetime. Several of her activist projects have left their mark, including "Heforshe Men", a series of 26 portraits to support the UN campaign on gender equality launched in 2014, as well as "This is what a feminist looks like" , bringing together 28 portraits of famous men who declared themselves feminists.

Around the portrait, another current project entitled “Les belles wrinkles” pays homage to old age. A film buff since his youth, Andromaque finds his main portrait subjects among film actors and actresses, as well as his favorite directors. She highlights the raw support of her creations, such as mass-colored paper or even raw or gilded wood, a central element of her artistic approach.

The dry pastel technique, with multiple possibilities and non-polluting, has become his favorite technique. His other projects on the theme of the Palace of Versailles, in particular on the sculptures weathered by time which adorn the gardens or the film shooting scenes, also inspire him. This place imbued with profound beauty, where she worked as a documentalist within the Ministry of Culture for 22 years, continues to fuel her creativity. Andromaque uses her art to explore societal and humanist issues, while celebrating the beauty and complexity of the human condition through her works.
