Catherine Duchêne is a contemporary French artist. Her artistic education commenced in 2000 under the guidance of the esteemed painter Jean-Yves Guionet. Following this formative period, Catherine pursued her studies at l'Ecole des Beaux-Arts of Versailles, where she honed her craft and refined her artistic vision.

After graduating, Catherine Duchêne extended her artistic pursuits into the realms of art therapy and pedagogy, where she found fulfillment in teaching both painting and art history. Catherine's artistic prowess has been recognized through numerous accolades, including awards at prominent events such as the Paul Ricard Painting Symposium, the Salon de la Francilienne for young talents, and the Contemporary Art Fair of Saint Laurent Lolmie. In 2017, Catherine Duchêne garnered national and international attention when one of her canvases was chosen as a gift for the French President François Hollande at the conclusion of his term in office.
