Cassiano Lima ia an architect by profession, Cassiano Lima has been passionate about painting for over 20 years. His curriculum includes several solo and group exhibitions in Portugal and abroad, including his participation in the Vilamoura International Art Biennial (1996) and the Faculty of Architecture of the Algarve (2004 and 2009).
Resident in the Algarve mountains (Alte) took a painting course in Lisbon, area where he also attended various training in the city of Paris (France), namely at Alliance Française, Belville Art Institute and Private School of Creative Arts.
In 1980, he began to dedicate himself more seriously to the art world under the guidance of masters João Giga and Daniel Vieira. From 1986 he made a short break in his artistic career to integrate Lusotur's technical services in architecture and urbanism, returning to his full artistic vocation after completing his studies. Cassiano Lima was a drafting designer at the Vocational Training Institute of Lisbon, professor of drawing and painting (Loulé Culture House and Salir Secondary School), coordinator of the Vilamoura Art Gallery and director of the Horta das Artes Art Gallery in Alte He returned to the art world in 1994, collaborating with master João Giga and his painter, sculptor and writer friend Victor Borges until 2000. Since then his research and development in the art world has been constant.
