Carole Bourcheix est une artiste figurative. Son medium de prédilection est la peinture acrylique sur toile qui lui permet une exécution rapide et concrète.
Sa peinture s'exprime en majorité en noir et blanc comme une vieille photographie, une image figée dans le temps. La technique du zonage s'est imposée à elle pour donner un aspect flou et défini à ses images, tout en laissant une part d'expressivité au pinceau lorsque cela nécessaire.
Ses sujets sont tournés vers des scènes plutôt sombres et sérieuses mais cela n'est que partie remise ... Elle utilise ses toiles comme des outils à vocation visuelle dont le but est de laisser le spectateur imaginer le contexte, créer l'histoire qui correspond.
Carole vit et travaille actuellement à Paris. Elle détient une Licence en Arts Plastiques (Paris I – La Sorbonne).
