Née à Carnières (Hainaut – Belgique) en 1940.
Peintre autodidacte , Danielle Belle-Josse a une préférence marquée pour la représentation des enfants,
car il faut dire qu’ils furent son centre d’intérêt durant sa carrière d’enseignante .
Dans les portraits d’enfants surtout, mais aussi dans la représentation des scènes
de la vie quotidienne, elle donne beaucoup d’importance au regard :
« on peut taire sa voix ou retenir un geste, mais on ne sait pas cacher son regard »
Elle possède quelques belles distinctions :
- Mos’art d’or de la ville d’Yvoir en 2005.
- Deuxième prix « Art Balade » à Charleroi en 2004.
