Beatrice's work is "colour in action". Her colours, with their vibrant notes, create the volumes, the rhythms and the musical texture typical of her work. This passion for colours and their symbolism is already present in her early works, characterised by spirals, whirls and dancing Dervish in bright shades of red and orange. Colour took an additional conceptual dimension in later works, such as "Ta Mystika" and "Onyrika" where gold features prominently as a reminder of the mystical and dream elements in life. In addition to painting, Beatrice is actively researching contemporary sculpture, using recycled tubes and other materials to create mobile installations. She has also been developing her own visual alphabet, the "Warumusik", where she explores the relationship between recurrent graphic symbols in her painting and music.

Beatrice, a proud Florentine by birth, moved to Brussels in the 1990s to work for the EU institutions. She participated in several contemporary art ateliers across Europe and studied sculpture at the Washington Studio School (Washington DC). She currently lives between Brussels and Lisbon.
