Pierre-Jean Béchade, of Parisian origin, student of the Académie Charpentier and the Ecole de la Grande Chaumière in the Montparnasse district of Paris, immersed in the atmosphere of the artists of the revolutionary period of the 1970s .
After studying Interior Architecture in the Capital, immersed in the pictorial artistic milieu of that time, he assiduously frequented the Louvre and the great Parisian galleries.
A career as an Interior Architect and Decorator led him to settle in Montpellier in the south of France, on the shores of the Mediterranean where violent and pure colors inspired him, continuing to paint with enthusiasm his feelings under the influence of the painters who gave him his style: Impressionism, Fauves, Nabis, Expressionism.
