Another inventor, Arthur Batut , undertakes the construction of a kite which he will equip with a dark chamber whose shutter is automatically triggered by the combustion of a tinder wick. In 1888, he obtained the first aerial photograph in history by photographing the town of Labruguière in the Tarn (France).
