Richard Gillet is a versatile artist who has distinguished himself in the fields of painting, sculpture and photography. His artistic career is marked by a series of remarkable experiences and accomplishments.
In the years 1977-1978, he had the opportunity to participate in the workshop of Pascale Morice, a sculptor awarded the Bourdelle Prize in 1977. This experience was a decisive moment in his artistic career, allowing him to develop his sculpting skills.
In 1978, Richard Gillet became a member of the "Marais painters" in Paris, which strengthened his commitment to the artistic world of the French capital.
During the years 1982-1986, he worked actively in the field of music, creating record covers, posters and photographs for groups in the Parisian rock scene. This period demonstrates his ability to merge visual art and music, creating synergy between the two.
In 1989, Richard Gillet was honored with the honorary diploma from the Paul Ricard Foundation, recognition of his artistic talent and his contribution to the artistic scene.
In 1990, he became a member of the "independent artists" in Paris,
