Thierry Pujalte, artist and middle school visual arts teacher, lives and works in France. A former student of the École Supérieure d'Arts Appliqués Estienne in Paris, he also obtained a doctorate in Information and Communication Sciences at Paris VIII. It was during his years of study at the École Estienne that his graphic practice flourished, shaped by an early passion for drawing and visual art.
His work is characterized by a rich diversity of media, including conté, ballpoint pen, photography, ink, graphite, pencil, marker and watercolor on paper. Thierry Pujalte is distinguished by a style that mixes naïve art and surrealism, where images emerge from the graphic complexity of his compositions. His artistic approach is based on the very act of drawing: he superimposes, intertwines and gives free rein to his gesture to create fantastic and unreal works, often without a predefined idea.
Each stroke and line in his drawings are the result of an intuitive exploration, allowing unique visual universes to unfold. Thierry never ceases to renew his artistic experiments, making each work an invitation to discover the unexpected and the extraordinary in everyday life.
