Didier Poisson is a contemporary award-winning French sculptor. The fundamental basis of the sculptor's creation are the relationships between material, language, and cognition. The artwork comes across as visual, sensory, spiritual, metaphysical, and symbolic in experience, with the artist's poetic temptation as he seeks to recreate the original emotion, and his view of an exalted reality in movement and sculptural shapes.
The artwork shines through in the diversity and variety of the subjects, and the artist achieves aesthetic perfection as well as the quintessence of balance, movement, and abstraction in each of his works. He incorporates and juxtaposes elements such as glass, stainless steel, iron, and wood with black marble and granite.
