Klazien De Vries
I have been drawing and painting all my life.
I use all kinds of materials: water-mixable oil paint, pastel chalk, charcoal, oil chalk, etc. Sometimes different materials are used for one painting.
I have become deaf and also have extreme tinnitus. To deal with the tinnitus it is good to concentrate on what I am painting. That 'pushes' the tinnitus somewhat to the back. Focusing on the painting or drawing.
I am largely self-taught. I have taken a few courses in the past.
