Guy Rossey's painting emanates from experiences during his travels. Scenes, situations, experiences have acted as a flash kept in memory that he tries to translate into painting. His style is rather inspired by impressionism. He likes to suggest more than to describe and strives to free his gesture to be able to better achieve it.

Guy Rossey is self-taught. He perfected his technique through internships with watercolourists Marc Folly, Lelie Abadie, Christine Peseux. In parallel, he practiced oil painting with Patrick de Puységur.

He is Belgian, a chemist, and lives in the Montpellier region. His time is now devoted to painting. He finds there the pleasure of doing research. But here it consists in finding the effective composition, the harmony of colors, the atmosphere to be created and the means to achieve it.

He regularly exhibits in fairs in his region and participated in the International Watercolor Fair in St Yrieix-la-Perche in 2019 and 2021. < /p>
