Emmanuel Curt

Emmanuel Curt, born November 12, 1968 in Marseille, is a visual artist and multimedia director.

After a childhood in the Parisian suburbs and studying literature and cinema at Paris III University, he moved to Aix en Provence where he obtained a DEA in ethnology.

From 1991, he spent two years at the Ethnological Conservatory of Haute-Provence (Prieuré de Salagon - Mane) developing a video department, participated in the creation of the permanent exhibition, developed databases (objects and sound heritage ) and hosts an open-air film festival.

He then produced corporate films for Apple France, Sony France and Abeille Assurances.

He was hired in 1996 by ARTEC (Regional Agency for Territories and Cultural Economy) and developed databases listing festivals or cultural funding as well as a GIS (geographic information system) which will allow to produce the Cultural Atlas of the Provence Alpes Côte d'Azur region (book and CDRom).

In 1999, he created the company Made in Arts in the sector of New Information and Communication Technologies. He then collaborated with the University of Provence (prestige brochure, Student's Guide on CDom), the Mediterranean Youth Orchestra, the Regional Heritage Agency, the magazine La Pensie de Midi, the music label L Digitale or the editor Images en Manoeuvres.

In 2002, he founded the company Soondbox in Paris, specializing in sound and music.

Since 2015, Emmanuel Curt has devoted himself fully to his activity as a visual artist and his passion for images.
He carries out experimental video projects - The country where the Clouds are born -, or ethnographic.
He developed the “Arboretum” photographic project.
He leads the creative invasion The Ego.
