Dimitris Gonalakis was born in 1942 in Kamara, Koleni of Kissamos. After he finished his military service dealt with the advertising model, the political cartoon and the illustration of books and Athenian magazines ("Little Hero", "Mask", "Zorro", "Pantheon", etc.) parallel he studied free painting, intensively studying the trends and styles of classical technique and since 1967 has engaged in painting.
