Original-Bild Airbrush-Mischtechnik “Moda – Die Mode”. Einerseits ein Bild mit großer Symboltracht, nicht zuletzt, da es überwiegend in Blautönen gehalten ist. Die Farbe Blau assoziiert Vieles, positiv wie negativ – Unendlichkeit, Sehnsucht, Mut, das Ideale, die weibliche Natur, aber auch Kälte und Lüge. Also Aspekte, wie sie wohl auch in der Modewelt anzutreffen sind. Vielleicht hat der Künstler Ähnliches empfunden, als er dieses Bild malte. Andererseits – man beachte den braunen Herrenschuh – scheint es wahrscheinlicher, dass er dieses Bild seinem Bruder widmete, dem Modedesigner Salvatore Di Bella. Oder er hat sich an ein Zitat von Marcello Mastroianni (italienischer Schauspieler, 1924-1996) erinnert: “Modeschöpfer sind Männer, die das Zweitschönste auf der Welt tun: Frauen anziehen.”
