Biography
Patrick Daniel is a contemporary German artist. Unbound by specifications, styles, or techniques, his creations emerge organically from within, influenced by daily street encounters and keen observations. His works possess multiple dimensions, not all of which are intended to be agreeable. Many address the ongoing erosion of values in our era. His artistic pursuit encompasses not only the quest for equilibrium, patience, and delight but also the channeling of his dissatisfaction. Subtle provocations often find their way into his pieces, serving as points of recurrent interest. The gratification arises when a cursory glance evolves into a momentary pause.

Art is not to follow rules!
Who says what art means? No one! In my designs, I do not consider myself to specifications, styles or techniques. They arise out of me, from the everyday encounters on the road and my observations. They are thus multi-faceted, but hopefully not always pleasant. I paint not just about balance, patience and joy to reach, but also in order to express my displeasure. The joy of sets in when a superficial glance, a short pause is.
