Original Artwork refers to any work that is considered authentic and not a copy or imitation of the original works of an artist. Original artwork can be any type of painting, sculpture, performance, or other media. There are many types of original media. Mixed media includes oil, acrylic, and watercolor paintings. For workshop paintings that bear evidence of master craftsmanship, this attribution must be further qualified. While they may be less valuable for different reasons, reproductions and copies have had a tremendous impact on our experience. They reach a greater audience than originals and act as a tonic against commodification. Original Artwork could also refer to the first work, which is always preceding all others. Sono nato a Reggio Calabria nel 1962. Diplomato al Liceo Artistico “Mattia Preti” di Reggio Calabria, ho partecipato durante il periodo formativo a concorsi e mostre collettive ed estemporanee. Appassionato di disegno fin dalla fanciullezza, ho coltivato con costanza questa mia attitudine dipingendo da autodidatta. Sono attratto dal figurativo e dall’arte classica ed interessato alle tecniche pittoriche antiche. Come un alchimista amo preparare personalmente supporti, colori e vernici. Il mio stile attuale è frutto di un percorso che mi ha portato a cimentarmi con le più diverse tecniche e modalità espressive. La mia pittura ha spesso significati simbolici e trae ispirazione da temi letterari. Ho realizzato diverse mostre personali: nel 2012 presso la Sala Mostre dell’Amministrazione Provinciale di Reggio Calabria “Lo cunto de’ li cunti”, una raccolta di olii su tela ispirati alle favole classiche recensita dalla Prof.ssa M. A. Mamone docente di Storia dell’Arte presso l’Accademia di Belle Arti di Reggio Calabria; ho realizzato mostre personali presso la Galleria D’Arte Toma di Reggio Calabria e presso il Museo Civico Archeologico della città di Gerace. Una mia opera si trova esposta presso l’ex Palazzo della Provincia di Reggio Calabria. Socio artista del Gruppo Artistico “Soave in Arte” fino al dicembre 2018. Vivo a Soave (VR) dove svolgo la professione di medico psichiatra.
