La naissance de mon style s'est réalisée à la suite de la découverte des peintures de Jackson Pollock, d'Henri Matisse, de Pablo Picasso, de Claude Monet et de Vassili Kandinsky. La découverte des mouvements de l'expressionnisme abstrait, du fauvisme et de l'abstraction fut également importante pour moi.
Parallèlement à la peinture, j'ai pratiqué l'art dramatique ce qui m'a permis de développer mon imaginaire et mon originalité plutôt que de créer à la manière d'un artiste reconnu. Au théâtre, les mots doivent sortir de manière spontanée et sincère. Ma façon de peindre est issue, je pense, d'une alliance de l'apprentissage de la peinture et du théâtre. Petit à petit, je me suis mise à peindre mes émotions et ma sensibilité tout en jouant avec mon imagination. Ma peinture est instinctive. Rien n'est prévu la plupart du temps.
