Al Freno is a Belgian painter born in 1978 in Cambrai. He remembers starting to draw very early and being fascinated by Dali and Picasso throughout his adolescence.
During his studies in an architecture school, he was able to enter the world of architecture. School of Fine Arts where he learned the techniques of shadows, lights and perspectives. After leaving painting aside for many years, he is back to present his work.
"I have traveled a lot in several countries and I think that is where my passion for the blue, the sea, dream villas and swimming pools comes from. I like to take the person who looks at them on a journey through my paintings. That she can dive, in some way, into the painting." Al Freno
