Emre Acar's work Munchies deals with the dissatisfaction, desires and inner conflicts of modern people. The work reveals not only a feeling of hunger, but also the deep but endless desire of human nature for all kinds of satisfaction.
Colors draw the viewer into chaos; This chaos represents both physical and emotional hunger. While the dynamism of the brush strokes symbolizes the explosion of repressed emotions and dissatisfaction, the overall composition of the work creates a sense of order that balances this chaos.
This work shows that humans do not limit the concept of "hunger" only to physical needs, but also seek constant satisfaction in spiritual and mental dimensions. Munchies makes us think that in the world of excessive consumption of modern life, people have become creatures who have forgotten what they are hungry for.

He was born in Turkey in 1998. He studied drawing in 2015. He graduated from Ondokuz Mayıs University, Department of Art Teaching in 2020. During his undergraduate education, Prof.Dr. He studied painting at the workshop of İbrahim Halil Türker.
