Emmanuel Jahan is an experienced photographer. He photographs surprising chiaroscuros, depicts people in the street in a subtle and profound way. His work has received numerous awards: winners of the Photo magazine competition in 2016 and 2017, Winner of the Neumunster Abbey photo festival in Luxembourg in 2018.
Addressing particularly the themes of street scenes, scenes of life and advertising, his work is distinguished by a visionary lighting. His direct shots in the street contrast with our usual vision of these simple and everyday events.
Emmanuel Jahan lives in Paris and Nieul sur mer (France). He is self-taught but trained by his mother who was an artist. His work is present in many private collections.
