"Fine-Arts" prints on paper
It is a process of printing on art paper using very high-quality pigment inks and printed in very high definition. Its level of conservation is exceptional (more than 100 years), its quality, depth, and richness of nuances exceeds the classic photo print on Argentic paper.

Glossy finish
Apart from its exceptional thickness, the fiber paper is composed of an alpha-cellulose base without acid and it is covered with barium sulphate, and a microporous layer absorption enhancing pigments during printing. A pure white color, non-yellowing to light, this paper is especially designed for resistance and aging. It is used by major museums worldwide as it offers excellent resolution, rendering deep and dense colors.

“De lucht werd helderder en kouder. Een paar frisse nachten kwamen, en ineens had een berk boven de rivier gele bladeren in de top. Toen ze op een vroege ochtend bij hun vuur zaten, zagen ze het, maar geen van beiden zei er iets over.”

During her studies at the Art Academy in Breda, Elise Eekhout started her design agency. It allowed her to work for notable companies such as Technical University Delft, Suez International, Exact Software, Msys, Parklaan Buitengewone Projecten and many governmental organizations. In 2020 she decided to shift her primary focus to the fine arts.
Letters & Texts have always been a source of inspiration and wonder for Eekhout: when you think about it, the text is nothing but a series of characters in a row to which we have assigned meanings. We can experience a range of feelings and emotions just by looking at those signs.
Eekhout combines this fascination with the dream worlds she creates in her art. Her paintings tell stories that are not 'finished'. Image and text are often intertwined, creating a fascinating symbiosis.
This invites you to use your fantasy and imagination.
In the summer of 2021, her work was shown at several exhibitions in India.
And in the winter of that same year, one of her artworks inspired Margin Alexander, a New York City-based composer and pianist, to write a symphony.
Elise also makes commissioned work.
