Merging (2018) Sculpture by Elisaveta Sivas

Elisaveta Sivas is an experienced conceptual artist with international exposure. Elisaveta believes that the role of an artist is to heal the trauma of the anthropocene. Through her art she conducts humanity to go through initiation into awareness, to choose a harmonious version of the future. She strives to give a person an incentive for a new self. Her style inherits the geometricity of the Cycladic figures, rethinks the abstraction of Brancusi's and Modigliani’s sculpture, and, echoing Chagall's naivety, passes into the era of metamodernism. 

Elisaveta has been always searching for the Truth, Freedom and Love. In 2022 she passed through spiritual enlightment and found the Truth. She experienced a rebirth and deeper understanding of herself, her connection to other human and the Universe. Since then Elisaveta wants to share the Knowledge about Love and Unity through her art. She explains through her art the idea of Unity of the humans by One spirit and the true human nature. It is a precious knowledge which could lead every human to personal harmony and our society to a better life based on inclusivity, equity, sustainability and diversity. 

Elisaveta’s art has divided into a period of SEARCH (before 2022) and a period of TRUTH (since 2022). Elisaveta holds a degree in Modern Greek and Byzantine Studies and has a PhD in Theoretical Linguistics. She taught and did research at the University of Cyprus. She studied fashion and theatrical costume at the Art Future School in St. Petersburg. She studied ceramics at Valeria Polsinelli’s workshop in Paris and Vassos Demetriou’s workshop in Larnaca, Cyprus. Elisaveta attended classes of art in the Academy of Art in Palermo. She also followed painting courses and aesthetics of art lessons at the workshop of the artist Christos Avraam in Cyprus. Recently she got a diploma of ‘Master’ as spiritual coach from American mentor Nina Verkoyen. She also got a diploma in art communications from the Institute of the Mediterranean Culture in Athens, Greece. Elisaveta combines in her professional career knowledge from few different fields like sociology, language research, spirituality, conscious living, fashion design, art and sculpture. Her multidisciplinary experience helps her to have a complex approach to the art, to continue research through her creations, to express deep concepts and ideas through her painting and sculpture. 

Elisaveta presented her work in group and solo exhibitions. Her artwork can now be found in private collections in the USA, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, Estonia, Italy, Denmark, Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Norway, France, Greece, Cyprus, Malta, Russia, United Arab Emirates, Hungary, Poland, Serbia, Hong Kong.
