By the Sea series represents my love to the sea, its strength, its serenity and its deep blue.
The encounter with the serenity and beauty of nature, perfect and unique moments, hidden in small details and emotions. The plunging and emerging of the waters, like a meeting of the soul, a balsam.
A process of love, like who lives every moment, every stroke, collage, construction and reconstruction.
In my creative process I always start with an emotion, always inside me, and I develop the work as he speaks to me and meets me. Each work is always a process of discovery, the perfect and the imperfect. What are we but the sum of the two?
In this series I include pieces from previous works, fabrics, beach elements, and any elements that are waiting for a new self.

I was born in 1975, in Portugal, country where I live and work. I have always loved art and painting since I was younger. I started painting in 1992, in a atelier. After a period of pause, I resumed my work, drawing inspiration from a variety of themes and experiences, acquired in the journeys I make, in constant observation, and in my feelings. Each work is created in a spontaneous act of freedom and dedication. I love working with the most diverse materials, recycling its essence and texture.
The experience of working with the most varied materials and techniques, allows me to evolve and discover the most beautiful effects. My Works are my personal expressions of my experiences, and each piece of art are unique.
