Elhadji Mamadou Faye is a contemporary Senegalese painter, born into an environment steeped in artistic expression. From an early age, Faye found himself drawn to the world of painting, exploring his creativity amidst the rich cultural tapestry of his upbringing. Initially rooted in the traditions of African art, Faye's early works reflected scenes of daily life, capturing the essence of his surroundings with a figurative touch.
His journey into the realm of art took a significant step forward with his enrollment at the Dakar School of Fine Arts [ENA].
