The abstract urban cityscape painting "The Sunny Side of the Street" is the best present for a contemporary art lover. The artwork is painted in the original impasto technique of using a palette knife on a high-quality Italian canvas. The piece is shipped stretched on the wooden bars and ready to hang.

"The Sunny Side of a Street" was intuitively painted under the influence of immediate emotions of sunlight at the city street, so customization is impossible. This texture artwork is suitable for the interior of any style. It will look better when framed.

The painting is one-of-a-kind, hand-signed. Size: 23.6*15.7 inches/ 60*40 cm.

Eleonora Taranova was born in a small Ukrainian town in 1971. As a child, she lived in a village house with animals and observed their behavior. She learned to portray the emotions and movements of pets on her own since there was no art school in the town.

After working as a teacher at a higher school for over 20 years, she quit her job for health reasons and took up painting as a hobby. Now she is working as a full-time artist in animalistic and figurative genres for the last 13 years.

Eleonora draws inspiration from the rock carvings' simplicity and expressiveness, the emotionality of the works of Rembrandt and Vrubel, the human form depiction of Francis Bacon, and bright colored works of Franz Mark. Her latest discovery is the works of Danish artist Oluf Hartmann, in which she finds answers to her questions.

Fleeing the war, Eleonora appeared in Denmark where she is based now. The artist researches emotions with the aim of opposing and finding common ground between human and animal psychology. She awakens empathy and pays tribute to animals that fill our lives with devotion and love, and inspire us with their natural beauty. The artist speaks for those who cannot speak for themselves.
