Elena was born in Minsk, Belarus and lives here at present.
She graduated from the Belarusian State Academy of Arts, the department of Graphic design and the Belarusian State Pedagogical University, the faculty of Psychology.
During her studies at the Academy of arts, she elaborated my style of illustrating in a unique hand-made paper collage technique.
Elena Satsuta is a paper artist and the main purpose of her works is to transfer kindness, spirituality and human values in our technological era.
She works with paper since 2013 and enjoys this process very much. The sense of her works and the paper technique are interconnected – wrinkled torn paper confers individuality and “soul” of heroes and objects.
