Biography
Elena Mashajeva-Agraphiotis is a celebrated contemporary painter whose artistic journey spans across three countries and over two decades. Born in the USSR, Elena's passion for art was ignited during her studies at the University of V. U. Lenin in St. Petersburg. It was there that she discovered her true calling and laid the foundation for her illustrious career in the arts.
Elena's work is characterized by her ability to capture the multifaceted beauty of nature through a contemporary impressionist lens. Her versatility as an artist is evident in her diverse portfolio, which includes classical portraiture, still life, and abstract expressionistic landscapes and compositions. This breadth of technique showcases her ability to traverse various artistic styles while maintaining a unique and cohesive voice.
Throughout her career, Elena has lived and worked in Russia, Austria, and America, each location influencing her artistic perspective and enriching her creative expression.
