Elena Demyanenenko is a self-taught artist, born in 1988 in Altai krai, Russia, and currently based in Moscow. Being a software engineer by profession, she has been painting as long as she can remember. She is in love with architecture/urban sketching and painting birds, yet her interests lie far beyond that, and any unremarkable, at first glance, object can unexpectedly become the main character of a new piece. While she works primarily with watercolors, some sketches and paintings find reflection in ceramics, which seems very attractive to her as it makes it possible to work impressions out deeper and express them in a three-dimensional form that gives more opportunities of interaction with a viewer.
