Abgesehen von seiner aussergewöhnlichen Dicke besteht das Faserpapier aus einer säurefreien Alpha-Cellulosebasis, die mit Bariumsulfat bedeckt ist, und einer mikroporösen Schicht, die die Pigmente beim Drucken absorbiert.
