Born in 1975. Eddy Legrand lives and works in the Pas-de Calais department. After his arts studies, he took courses at the School of Fine Arts in Boulogne-sur-Mer, where he was passionately introduced to engraving and sculpture. He works in different mediums and supports, drawing inspiration from current events or his daily life. He has been painting since the 90s and started participating in several exhibitions and showing his work in different places. What matters to him is only the act of painting. A catharsis. Painting is only a pretext for observation of nature and its contemporaries. His favorite themes are the human figure, nature, society, and the history of Art.
