Hope is a deeply personal and emotional triptych, created on October 7th, 2023, following the heartbreaking news about hostages in Israel. Through these three small paintings, I poured my emotions, my longing for peace, and my hope for the safe return of the hostages to their loved ones.

The canvases flow together with light, vibrant colors—lemon yellow, soft lilac, and orchid tones that connect all three pieces. Subtle touches of gold and delicate details made with wax chalks add layers of depth and warmth to the work, evoking both fragility and resilience.

Creating Hope was my way of processing and expressing profound emotions on that day. I hope this triptych resonates with others, reminding us of the strength found in hope and the human desire for peace.

Her process is emotional and deeply personal, often inspired by emotions, impressions from her global travels, and the energy of young entrepreneurs and startups that she works with in her daily life.

Eugenia studied International Business, got her MBA degree in the UK, speaks 5 languages and has lived in 6 countries. She held executive positions in Big Tech companies like Expedia Group and Meta, and now is a venture capitalist for a San Francisco-based venture fund. 

Eugenia, under the pseudonyme of Duna Eva, embraced painting back in 2021 not just as a personal outlet but as a way to share her unique vision with the world. Color is central to her work, serving as a foundation to translate her emotions into bold, dynamic pieces. Her art explores themes of light emerging through darkness, energy bursting through stillness, and the vibrant beauty of nature.

Eugenia's goal is to create art that evokes joy, empowerment, and a sense of connection, bringing vitality into the living places. With plans to develop cohesive series and expand her artistic portfolio, she started displaying and selling her art in 2025 online and offline.
