Biography:
Dumitru, was born in Transylvania, a legendary province in Romania. He studied Graphic Design & Decorating, and graduated from the National Art School in his native land. After working for 15 years as a graphic designer, he continued to develop his artistically abilities in Germany, France and Hungary where he lived between 1989 and 1997. He works in a variety of media but since he immigrated to Canada in 1997 his enthusiasm for watercolour has increased. After moving to Canada, Dumitru spent most of his time creating new technique of mixing the best of European traditional lessons with fresh concepts and radiant colours His artwork reflects a strong feeling for nature and human life.
