Marie-Laure Drillet analyse les relations amoureuses et se moque de nombreux clichés. Son travail est à la fois figuratif et narratif souligné par des couleurs chatoyantes. Ses expositions thématiques (So Sweet Lies en 2010, Pour faire durer l'amour en 2012, Les Épicuriens en 2015, Pas tous des hommes… en 2017) montrent son ressentiment des stéréotypes tant sur les femmes que sur les hommes. Son travail est farouchement humoristique et fait preuve d'une tendresse étonnante et d'une convivialité inattendue.
Marie-Laure Drillet analyses romantic relashionships and makes fun of many cliches. Her work is figurative as well as narrative emphasised by shimmering colors. Her thematic exhibitions (So Sweet Lies in 2010, To make love last in 2012, The Epicurians in 2015, Not all men… in 2017) show her resentment of stereotypes as much about women as about men. Her work is fiercely humoristic as well as showing amazing tenderness and unexpected friendliness.
