BIOGRAPHY :
Dominique lives and works in Niort.
After 4 years at the Beaux Arts (1990), she participated in several exhibitions in the Poitou-Charentes region and led plastic art workshops. From the start, the transmission gives a particular meaning to his job by sharing his cultural practice.
From 2001 until 2018, she worked in the world of performing arts, creating stage sets, puppets, accessories and installations. His work is enriched at the crossroads of other mainly theatrical practices. She is trained in the manipulation of puppets as well as in the theater of gesture. In 2019, she devoted herself again mainly to painting and drawing.

ARTISTIC APPROACH :
Art is a way for her to meet the world, to celebrate its beauty.
In a world where humanity is regularly flouted, she offers deeply human portraits, a mirror of our emotions and where we encounter the gaze of the other. She is in search of the inner impression, of this presence which she perceives and which touches her sensitivity. Finally, there is a question of love...
Senegalese culture is one of his sources of inspiration.
The drawing and the place of color are essential elements of her work, she seeks the vibrations, the colored frictions which excite the retina.
She uses mixed techniques: pastels, acrylic, watercolor, ballpoint pen, collage... including the crossing, the meeting corresponding more precisely to her expression and her research.
