Born in 1970, Dol is a painter and photographer who trained at the Institut Supérieur des Arts Appliqués in Paris. He began his career as a graphic designer before becoming artistic director in a communications agency, a position he held for ten years. Driven by the desire to reconnect with artistic creation, he then turned to web design and ended up opening his own gallery in Auvers-sur-Oise nine years ago, where he exhibits his works as well as those of other artists.
His artistic universe, inspired by pop culture, oscillates between the elegance of black and white and the explosion of color, bringing a flamboyant touch to a rock'n'roll style. Close to street art, Dol uses a wide variety of techniques, from acrylic to brushes to stencils, spray paint, collage and even the blowtorch. His creations, made on various supports such as metal, wood, cardboard or canvas, are distinguished by their originality and intensity.
Versatile, Dol does not limit himself to a single discipline, mixing painting, photography and sculpture in his works. He likes to push the boundaries between techniques, using all the creative prisms at his disposal to offer unique works, both striking and vibrant.
