 Part time Artist

Hello, dear guest!

I started painting in 2016 after a long break of 20 years. During these years I haven’t drawn a line, nor touched a brush.

When I was at school, I participated in many drawing competitions, I had a lot of expositions but when I grew up, I decided to study for other sort of job in order to get consistent flow of money, so I became an engineer.

 I started working as a designer engineer, then I worked as interior designer for a few years, I made my own small business in graphics and design, then I quitted and I started from zero, working for other companies, doing different activities. 

After 15 years of hard working and stressful jobs, I realized that it is important to do something for myself, something to enjoy and to distress, so I started painting. 

In 2016, I enrolled in the Art School College SARTA from Bucharest and in 2019 I got my degree in Oil Painting.  In 2020, I did a specialization year at the same institution which got finalized very quickly due to the pandemic.

My art's style is impressionism, expressionism, fauvism, all combined with graphic elements. I like the viewer to see how the artwork was made and sometimes I let it seem unfinished on purpose. I have no idea how the painting will turn out, I don't measure subjects while drawing, I don't have the pallet color in mind, I always think that the emotion from that moment brings more life than the technic. I am inspired by my imagination, my emotions, my own photos and sometimes by the internet.
